Kaidou was an apprentice of the legendary Rocks Pirates. 38 years ago during the God Valley Incident Kaidou ate the mythical fruit, the Uo Uo no Mi Model: Seiryu which was given to him by Linlin. 1. Kaidou’s design has been changed multiple times
Almost in every manga, the villains due to appear shortly are often hinted at a small sneak-peak, as the show progresses their design and appearance change a lot. Kaidou was hinted at soon after the Enies Lobby Arc and has been shown many times since then. The main thing to focus on is that the final version of Kaidou which we are seeing in the Wano Country Arc is very different from the ones shown before.
This change in Kaidou’s appearance can be because Oda kept on having different ideas regarding Kaidou’s look and as a result, his appearance and design kept evolving. Another reason for his changing forms could be his immortality or his Dragon Zoan which can reincarnate him.

The Emperor of the New World is almost always seen with a sake bottle in his hand, and if he’s not, everyone in the vicinity should watch out. It’s something even fans missed at first, but Kaido always seems drunk, and it is not an exaggeration. He is knocked out of his drunken state by Luffy the very first time he faces him in Gear Four. It enrages him so much that he destroys Luffy with a single hit.

In chapter 1037 Kaidou unveiled his ‘Shuron Hakke’. Like Rock Lee’s drunk mode, Kaidou becomes more and more powerful after drinking. The more drunk Kaidou gets, the more unpredictable his movements get. Because of being drunk, he can swiftly transform too.

12. Kaidou is not a human
Known for his invulnerability, size, and ability to turn into a dragon, Kaido is invincible. He has horns reminiscent of the horns of Oars and Oars Jr. He is often referred to as a “thing” rather than a human. Kaidou is considered to be an extremely powerful Yonko. It has been reported that he has survived situations where he would have been killed or executed countless times. His body is strong enough to shatter any spears or sword and only an advanced form of Busoshoku Haki can inflict damage on him. Kaidou’s main weapon is a giant Kanabo mace, Hassaika, his signature move being “Raimei Hakke”. He also wields a gun.

Kaidou is also an extremely proficient user of Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku Haki), Armament Haki (Busoshoku Haki), as well as the rarest of all Conquerors Haki (Haoshoku Haki). He has unlocked his Busoshoku and Haoshoku Haki to the fullest. This allows him to infuse his Haoshoku Haki into his body and Hassaikai, granting either an immense boost or generating streams of dark lightning. In an interview in 2014, Isayama revealed that he created Levi after watching the Watchmen. Isayama further said that he wanted to create a character inspired by Rorschach, which can explain Levi’s short height, jaw-dropping combat skills, and the white ascot on his neck.

4. Levi used to hate Commander Erwin
Many fans will find this Levi Ackerman fact somewhat hard to believe. Yes, there was a time when Levi used to hate Erwin. Although throughout the series Levi and Erwin have been shown to have a relationship based on years of loyalty and trust towards each other, things were not this way when they first met. When Erwin caught Levi and his friends stealing, he forced them to join the Survey Corps. This infuriated Levi so much that he even vowed to kill Erwin.

5. Levi became close friends with those outside his squad
Although it is unusual for Levi to befriend anyone easily still he made good friends with some people towards the end of the manga. Surprisingly, in the epilogue of the manga, he spends time with Onyankopon, Gabi, and Falco rather than being with those who were in his squad. This is an absolute surprise for everyone given their history and especially the fact that Levi did not even know these characters for most of the series.

Ackerman is a very big fan of tea and even makes sure that tea is a part of the shipment coming in. Levi even dreams of opening a tea shop, a fact not so surprising given his fondness for the drink.
