Gone with the Wind is a Romantic American epic historical film that is an adaptation of Magaret Mitchell’s novel of the same title. The movie is set in the southern United States and is against the American Civil War. The era is better known as the Reconstruction Era. The film revolves around the life of the protagonist, Scarlett (played by Vivien Leigh), who is in love with Ashley Wilkes.
The movie mainly revolves around her love life. At the end of the movie, Scarlett is left alone. However, there are boys who are interested in Scarlett, but as the movie comes to an end, she gets alone. She gets neither Ashley nor Rhett.
She even becomes a widow at the start. Her life seems to be challenging. Well, it was. The author of the novel once confessed that she wanted negatively portray the main lead, but the audience started loving her.

Magaret Mitchell’s novel is a comparison between love, war, and patriotism. The story revolves around the main character who is Scarlett O’Hara, the daughter of a huge cotton plantation owner. She is just a sixteen-year-old girl exploring love for the first time. She has a crush on Ashley Wilkes. He is the handsome son of the owner who owns the neighboring plantation.
She hesitates a lot to confess in front of him. Later, she discovers that he is going to propose to her cousin, Melanie Hamilton. Scarlett’s heart breaks into million pieces, but she decides not to come in between them. She decided to meet Rhett Butler. He was not a patriotic guy, and his behavior was a bit odd and doubtful.
