The South Korean music industry has been taking over the world by storm. More popular by its Pop and Hip-Hop music, artists of almost all genres are getting recognition all over the world. Apart from polishing the naturally talented trainees, the Kpop industry has quite a name for curating their own idols from probable future stars. There are countless survival shows, training camps, and so many other ways where people take part in. These trainees have to undergo harsh training environments and multiple eliminations rounds before they are deemed fit as a Kpop idol. The training varies depending on the position the trainee will debut as. The main categories for these trainings are vocalists, rappers, and dancers.
Almost all Korean pop bands, girl groups, and boy groups alike have both vocalists as well as rappers. There are many talented idols that can both rap and sing. There are many talented female rappers in the Kpop industry, and having to choose the best ones is a difficult job. Following is a list of some of the fastest rappers in the industry currently, along with the speed with which they spit bars. These female rappers are either soloists or a member of a Kpop band. Momo Hirai is a Japanese-Korean artist based in South Korea. She’s a singer, dancer, and a sub-rapper of the infamous band “Twice” under JYP Entertainment. Although she’s not a lead rapper, her rap skills are no joke. She can spit bars faster than most of the lead rappers of other kpop groups. She’s one of the most popular kpop artists who is not Korean. This popularity has been told to help the relationship between the two countries. Momo was personally scouted after her video of her dancing with her sister went viral online.
Although they both auditioned, only Momo was successful and joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee in 2012. Momo was chosen as a member of Twice through a survival show, “Sixteen”, where she was originally eliminated but brought back in the end.

Chu So Jung, professionally known by her stage name “Exy” is a member of the South Korean – Chinese girl group called “WJSN”. She’s the leader of the group and also the singer, songwriter, and rapper. Exy’s career started as a contestant on the show “Unpretty Rapstar” in 2015 and later starred in a drama the same year. Her debut was in the year 2016 as a member of the band WJSN, with the release of the lead singles “Mo Mo Mo” and “Catch Me”.
Exy started he solo career in 2017 when she collaborated with Euna Kim on her single “Love Therapy”. Exy’s debut as a songwriter was in 2018 with the song “Thawing” for her own band. She’s seen showing off her acting skills lately, and in her latest JTBC drama “Idol: The Coup”. Exy’s exceptional rapping skills are noticed profusely in the song “Wipe Out”.
3. Chaeyoung from Twice

Son Chae Young is a South Korean rapper and singer and is a member of the infamous K-pop girl group “Twice”. Chaeyoung has experience prior to joining JYP Entertainment as a trainee, as she took dance and singing lessons for more than a year. Chaeyoung was a contestant on the survival show “Sixteen” in 2015 and was one of the last nine winners who would join the band. Lee Yu Bin, more popularly known as Dami, is the main rapper of the girl group “Dreamcatcher” under the Dreamcatcher company. She had her debut in 2014 as a member of the former band MINX. Kim Jennie who has taken the world by storm as a member of the world’s most famous Kpop girl group. Jennie’s ability to speak in English has helped her tremendously as a rapper. When she joined YG Entertainment as a trainee, she would be asked to cover English pop songs a lot. And since most of the western pop songs have rap parts in their songs, Jennie would be the one to end up rapping those parts. This happened because she was the only trainee there who knew English at a high level.
A trainer suggested that Jennie try rapping in Korean since she is able to rap so well in English. From here on, Jennie started her career in rapping. While they were on the set of Music Bank, waiting Backstage, Sungjae approached Taehyung asking him if he was a 95-liner and wanted to be friends with him. And that’s how their friendship started! We are already aware of how supportive BTS and BTOB are to one another, with the members showering their support on the release of new albums. Wanna One’s Park Jihoon has always been open about his unending admiration for Taehyung. From appreciating his skills to impersonating him on the variety shows, he is, in fact, a fanboy of V. In one of Jihoon’s interviews, he had stated that he has been close enough with BTS’ V and Jin to play online games with them, whenever their schedule allowed. When they met on MAMA 2018 in Japan, Jihoon was so glad to see him that he went up running on the stage to give V a big bear hug as he had a big smile on his face.

6. ZE:A’s Im Siwan
Siwan from the K-pop boy group ZE:A might be the latest celebrity whom BTS’ V has befriended. Siwan has recently been garnering a lot of popularity as an actor for his performance in the K-dramas like ‘Misaeng’ and ‘Run On’. In a recent Elle magazine interview, Siwan was asked if he has followed anyone on Instagram recently, to which his quick reply was ‘Taehyung-ie’. He said that he followed him after Taehyung told him he started using Instagram. Although it might seem that they are barely social media friends, their actions say otherwise. The fact that Siwan calls his name in such an endearing way and that Taehyung cares enough to text him after creating his account on Instagram proves that they are closer than what we think.

As for their first interaction, we can assume they met each other through Park Hyung Sik, who is one of the best friends of V and used to be a part of the band, ZE:A. 5. Ha Ji Won
The friendship between Taehyung and Ha Ji Won might seem unusual, especially when there’s an age gap of almost twenty years between them. But age doesn’t matter much, does it? The duo has been seen having brunch together many a time and loves taking pictures and appreciating art together. Once, she revealed that she had gifted Taehyung an art book which she has found during a foreign trip.

The ‘Secret Garden’ actress did receive some backlash from the netizens for this, but since the grounds are baseless, many of the ARMYs came in support of her.
4. Park Bo Gum
BTS’s V and the well-known idol-actor Park Bo Gum are probably the most adorable friendship duo in the K-pop industry, and it is what it is! From being co-hosts for the KBS’s Music Bank to being BFFs, their friendship is swoon-worthy. They went on a trip to Jeju island together, and after seeing the snaps shared by them, we can definitely assure you they shelled all sorts of best friends’ goals! One time, Park Bo Gum even showcased his support to V and the other BTS members when he cheered for them at one of BTS’ Hong Kong concerts.

3. SHINee’s Minho
Choi Minho from SHINee is one of the co-actors whom Taehyung had befriended during the filming of ‘Hwarang’, and now he is one of the many sunbaes that Taehyung loves to spend time with. During the 31st Golden Disk Awards, Minho and V were sitting in the audience next to each other, and fans couldn’t help but notice their super adorable interactions.

2. Girls’ Generation’s Yoona
It’s not a secret that Taehyung has been a huge fanboy of Yoona from the K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation. In one of the interviews, he revealed that the very first album he purchased was of Girls’ Generation, and he seemed proud while answering the question. V and Yoona are two of the most humble and talented K-pop idols, and a friendship between them can be nothing but royal! They had first met each other on a flight for a brief time, and Taehyung was so scared to look messy in front of Girls’ Generation members that he didn’t sleep the entire time!

The 2016 historical K-drama, ‘Hwarang’ had an ensemble cast of Choi Woo-shik, Park Seo-Joon, Park Hyung-sik, and V even after all these years, they are as close as ever! V was just twenty when he starred in the series, and as the youngest one of them, he garnered all the love and pamperedness from his hyungs . The Wooga Squad consisting of Peakboy along with the above four, are close to him like his brothers, as we can see them supporting each other whenever they get a chance. The soothing OST, ‘Sweet Night’ from the 2020 K-drama’ Itaewon Class’ was supposed to be a part of V’s Mixtape. However, he released it as an OST in order to support Park Seo Joon, who has played the protagonist of the drama.
