Jin of BTS has achieved a major milestone with his solo debut on the Billboard 200 chart. His first solo album, Happy , debuted at No. 4 on the prestigious chart for the week ending November 21, 2024.

This achievement not only marks Jin’s entry into the U.S. market as a solo artist but also solidifies BTS as the first K-pop group in history to have all seven of its members chart solo top 10 albums.

The success of Happy reflects strong sales and streaming numbers. According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), Jin’s album sold 66,000 traditional album copies, ranking it as the third best-selling album of the week in the U.S.

Prior to this, BTS as a group has charted seven top 10 albums on the Billboard 200, including six No. 1 hits.
