According to spoilers for Kagurabachi chapter 54, titled Friendship, the chapter kicks off with Yura at a playground. The Hishaku leader notes that they have a general idea of the Kamunabi’s plans but acknowledges the unexpected impact of Chihiro Rokuhira joining the Sanzo’s ranks. This addition leaves no room for error.
Yura is particularly concerned about Shiba, who remains elusive. The Hishaku struggled against Shiba even three years ago. The leader believes that eliminating the contract holders is key to unlocking the true power of the Enchanted Blades.
Yura, during a phone call with a sorcerer, reflects on the decision to entrust Hiruhiko with the crucial task of killing the Enchanted Blade’s contract bearers. Hiruhiko divulges the Hishaku’s operations to Chihiro, revealing that 68 stray sorcerers, half armed with Datenseki stones, aim to kill the contract bearers. The Hishaku, a small elite group led by Yura, has encountered Chihiro at Rakuzaichi. Tree roots engulf the temple, and Yura’s personal vendetta prompts him to send all forces to the temple.
Hiruhiko foresees another deadly encounter with Chihiro. The chapter concludes with the Hishaku sorcerer from the first chapter at Senkutsji Temple, as Uruha and others realize time is short. Samura prepares to punish the Hishaku sorcerer for his sins.
