Chapter 1,144: “Warrior Time”.
Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage, Vol. 29: “Liberating Minamoto the Carpenter and the girls!!” Yamato and Tama have defeated Who’s Who gang. Tama is now with Minamoto (he’s crying) and Yamato (that has recovered Yasuie’s sword) is talking with the girls.
Chapter starts with Franky and Ripley, they arrive at a strange building that appears to be built from the remains of a massive ancient robot. The top of the building looks like the ancient robot’s head. The whole place is surrounded by plants.
Franky: “What is that building!? It screams “science”!!!” Ripley: “Ahaha, you are a cyborg so I knew this place would excite you the most!!” Franky: “Why is something like that in this “nation of warriors”!!?”
Lilith and Bonney greet Franky from the building, Bonney says inside is amazing. Ripley explains that the ancient robot is said to be over 3,000 years old.
Cut to the forest, we can see giants fighting against “Dragr” monster. Brook wonders if that monster is the giant version of him.
The giants in the village do not allow the “Straw Hat crew” to fight since they are the guests, Colon is also not allowed to fight. Nami calls Jarul and brings him to the injured giant guards, telling him about the intruders in the castle.
Jinbe: “If we encounter any strange phenomenon in this world, it’s best to assume that it’s the work of Devil Fruits”!!
Jarul (to another giant): “Warn the entire country that 2 human intruders have infiltrated us!!”
Brook: “Wait!! Based on the amount of these phenomenons, we should assume that there may be more than 2.”
Nami says she won’t forgive someone who tries to kidnap kids. Usopp also offers to fight alongside giants, but he says in smaller voice loool. But Jarul forbids them again to join the battle.
Then “Straw Hat crew” sees Colon carrying his stuff into his little Sval. Colon says they can travel on his ship, but he has to be the captain. The group accepts the offer and Colon rides his Sval along with Usopp, Jinbe, Nami, and Brook.
Colon: “Set sail “Colon Pirates”!!!”
Cut to the forest, we see that “God’s Knights” are still sitting at the luxurious table. Gunko is listening to music with headphones (with “TD” letters on them) while the announcement from giants is heard throughout the country.
Giants: “[To all of the “Sun World” in Elbaph!! We have identified the existence of humans other than the “Straw Hat crew” at “Aurust Castle”!! We can determine that they are clearly our enemies…]”
Sommers: “Gihaha, Gunko is having her after-meal ritual again.” Gunko: “This is not a ritual… just my preference.”
Sommers: “Having something you can carry around with is not bad… What was it that your favorite song is again?” Gunko: “NEW WORLD”.”
Sommers: “Gihahaha. Are you unhappy with the current state of our world!?” Killingham: “Sommers, it’s not nice to judge people’s “preferences”.” Sommers: “Ahh my bad… And look. Those adults are putting in quite the effort over there.”
Cut to “Walrus School”. Saul is in front of the kid’s line with 2 shields on his hands, that way he won’t get stabbed by the thorns when he stops the kids.
Saul: “I can’t let you kids go on any further!!” Robin and Chopper: “You can do it Saul!!”
Saul: “Looks like you kids are following the directions of this still cloth… but this thing is pointing into the flames!! It’s certain death if you all continue!! I will stop you all no matter what!!”
The first girl stops when she touches one of the shields. However, the second kid in line collides with the first girl, and both get pricked by the invisible thorns and scream in pain. Saul, Robin, and Chopper are in shock.
Saul decides to use a rope to pull kids at the back of the line one by one instead, but suddenly he’s attacked by “Fenrir” monster. It seems the monsters are guarding the kids, not allowing anyone to stop them.
Cut again to the village and the forest. Giants finally took down “Dragr” monster but with great difficulty. Suddenly more monsters arrive and attack them.
Then in the EPIC final double page of the chapter, Giant Warrior Pirates arrives to the forest flying in the Great Eirik. Dorry and Brogy destroy 3 of the monsters (the dragon, the bearded giant, and the monster with a hat) with one powerful attack.
Dorry and Brogy: “Hakkoku Sovereignty”!!!”
Giant Warrior Pirates: “Great Eirik” the pirate ship, now in “Sval edition”!!! Just you wait monsters on the island, we are coming for you!!!”
Scopper Gaban is together with Giant Warrior Pirates on the ship. He holds an axe in one hand and a bottle of sake in the other hand. Gaban is ready to fight…
Gaban: “I don’t get why you guys had to get sober.”
Giants in the forest: “Ohhhhh!! It’s the bosses!!! No, it’s the Giant Warriors Pirates!!!”
Brogy: “Sorry we are late!! It’s such a waste to do this… but we threw up all the booze!!” Dorry: “We will take care of all the monsters!!! You guys handle the children!!!”
Giants in the forest: “Whaaa!!? Ya-san “The Mountain Eater”!!! No one can take down that ship!!!” Gaban: “Fufu.”
Editor’s comment: “At time of desperation, the “left hand of the Pirate King” appears!!”
