However insanely over-the-top and brutal in its depiction of ferocity, Black Lagoon is a strong contender for fans of wrongdoing series. The anime twitches with a 25-year-old Japanese salaryman who finds himself turned into human surety in what’s revealed to be a nuclear weapons job.

Rokuro Okajima then tosses his life in Japan away to stay by the titular grasping team after finding how little his life income is in a world dominated by corporate evil.
