Naruto Shippuden came as an improved version of Naruto because everything was on the next level, including the fights. This is one thing that made the Naruto franchise stand out because of the cooler fights that would occasionally happen. Then we got to know a lot more about different types of Jutsu as the series developed. Then came Sage Mode, which is even said to surpass anything we have seen at that time. So we will take some time here to look at what episode does Naruto Learn Sage mode.

If we look at how the events were planned out up until this point in the anime, then we will get to see the build-up to how Naruto got to learn Sage Mode. With Jiraiya having fought against Pain with his toads. They realized that Sage Mode was the only way to stop Pain. And that nobody else will be suited to learn it as fast as was needed except for Naruto, who has traveled with Jiraiya for a long time.

So since Jiraiya was amongst the few who managed to learn Sage Mode to almost perfection, then his teachings were not that different from how they would teach Naruto Sage mode. The issue was of urgency because the toads had predicted that after this, Pain would likely target the leaf village.

So without wasting any time, the toads moved to recruit Naruto from the Leaf so that he could start with his Sage Mode training as soon as possible. Well, doing things in this way would do them better as a measure to stop Pain from attacking the Leaf. Because all this was to pursue Naruto, who was the last piece of the puzzle together with Bee, and all this ended up leading to the fourth great shinobi world war.

What Episode Does Naruto Learn Sage Mode?

Naruto started with his Sage Mode training in Naruto Shippuden Episode 154. This was after the sad news of Jiraiya passing away was delivered to the Leaf by Fukasaku, who was alongside Jiraiya in his battle against the Six Paths of Pain. The episode is titled “Decryption,” and Naruto’s Sage Mode training is something that came as a bit of a surprise because it seemed to be something that was unplanned.

Naruto - 1

Naruto

This was because Naruto revealed something about Jiraiya that nobody else but him would have realized. Jiraiya sent a decrypted message to the Leaf, and they have been stuck trying to find out the meaning behind its message. So Naruto revealed to them that what appeared to be a number 9 was actually because Jiraiya had a writing quirk, and whenever he wanted to write “ta,” he would always write it as a 9.

After seeing this, Fukasaku requested to bring back Naruto with him to Mount Myoboku, where he would start with his Sage Mode training. Naruto then agreed as he wanted to avenge Jiraiya, and then Fukasau reverse summoned them to Mount Myoboku. Tsunade believed in the prophecy of the great toad as it had predicted a long time ago that Jiraiya’s novels would have an impact on the Shinobi world.

So since it was one of Jiraiya’s novels that had helped decipher the code. Tsunade had no issues with Naruto going to learn Sage Mode. While at Mount Myoboku, Naruto found out that Gamakichi was the one who summoned him as he had a summoning contract with the toad. Then after they had had Shima’s meals, Fukasaku started to explain to Naruto the basics of Sage Mode, and Gamakichi simplified it for him.

Naruto Starts Training

Sage Mode was a complete mystery at the time, but it was in this stage that we got to learn its fundamentals. It was all about harnessing the natural energy, and one would use it to enhance their techniques with great improvements. But this came with risks because if one makes mistakes, they will end up turning into a stone, and that would be their end.

Nonetheless, we have seen all that there is in the Naruto franchise now that it is the time for the Next Generations. But some would want to go back into the mani series because that’s how good Naruto Shippuden was. Especially now that Boruto anime is on a list of unending filler episodes.

Naruto - 2

Naruto centers on Naruto Uzumaki, an orphaned boy shunned by his village because of the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside him. Unaware of why he’s rejected, he yearns for acceptance and sets his sights on becoming Hokage, the village’s strongest ninja, in hopes of earning recognition and respect.

When it comes to anime characters, their actions make their names sound cool. Dazai is your Sherlock Holmes of the anime for those who do not know him yet. Because what he does is almost 100% accurate for the cases he takes. If you have not heard of Dazai or are wondering what anime is Dazai from. He is an interestingly smart character, and if you wish to see others like him and know more about their anime. You can take a look at the Smartest Anime Characters. This trait goes along with laziness because we have seen many super-smart characters who are also lazy. Maybe it is one thing they are the best at since they do not excel in other things, especially when it comes to combat.

Most people know him by just his name and would hardly refer to including his last name whenever they talk about him. He is a part of the Armed Detective Agency and an ex-executive of the underworld organization known as the Port Mafia. Now things are only getting more interesting because, for most characters who join the Protagonists side, we would always think they do not have a dark side.

But as we have learned, Dazai used to work with a dark organization which means that there were many bad things he did when he was still with the Port Mafia. He seems to be a mysterious person who never reveals his true intentions. He would often reveal them himself; otherwise, what he is after would normally be kept to himself.

Well, similarly to most seasonal anime. Bungou Stray Dogs managed to tell a closed storyline that did not leave us hanging in the air.

So whatever the fans must be waiting for is just the continuation of the story because we were looking forward to more interesting events from the finale of the anime. Hopefully, someday we will get something, but we have to keep ourselves busy with other anime for now. Things would eventually return to normal for most anime that went on a Hiatus, just like we saw with Bleach and Overlord.

Some of the interesting things about Dazai are that he became the youngest executive in Port Mafia history. So the person who recruited him out of this gang might have been quite convincing. Because looking at his personality, Dazai is very difficult to convince.
