Justin Theroux recently revealed the real reason behind his split from Jennifer Aniston, shedding light on their amicable divorce. The couple, who married in 2015 after dating for four years, announced their separation in February 2018.
In a candid interview, Theroux denied rumors that their relationship ended because they had different lifestyle preferences, such as living in separate places.
He described these narratives as oversimplifications, stating that they were not the main reason for their breakup.
According to Theroux, people often create stories to make sense of complex situations, but their split was not as dramatic as people assumed.

Theroux further emphasized that he and Aniston have remained friends despite their divorce. Although they don’t talk every day, they still communicate regularly through texts, FaceTime calls, and occasional check-ins.
He expressed sincere appreciation for their enduring friendship, noting that their bond is important to him. Theroux said that even though they are no longer a couple, they still bring each other joy, and it would feel like a loss if they were no longer in touch.
Their relationship began in 2011 after working together on the film Wanderlust. Theroux proposed to Aniston on her 41st birthday in 2014, and they wed in a private ceremony in Bel Air the following year.
Despite their split, they have consistently remained respectful of each other and cherish the friendship they built over the years.
In 2022, Emily Ratajkowski and Pete Davidson briefly made headlines as they dated for less than two months, from November to December. Their relationship, which started through a mutual friend, was kept relatively private, with few public appearances.
They were first seen together in Brooklyn, which fueled rumors of their romance, and confirmed in late November when they attended a basketball game at Madison Square Garden.
Despite their short-lived relationship, fans were eager to understand the reasons behind their split.
The breakup occurred in December 2022, with sources suggesting that Emily chose to prioritize her independence and her son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, over continuing the relationship.

The breakup was further speculated after Pete was linked to other women, including his co-stars from Bodies Bodies Bodies.
The split was confirmed when Ratajkowski was photographed kissing artist Jack Greer and later revealed on her podcast that she was now using a dating app, signaling the end of her brief romance with Davidson.
Although the couple never publicly discussed their split, it was clear that Emily valued her autonomy as a mother, leading to the end of their fleeting romance.
Both have since moved on, with Emily reportedly dating Collins Obinna Chibueze (Shaboozey), and Pete being single as of 2024.
