Isshin is usually fun-loving and energetic and is always attacking his son to make him a stronger person.

During the fight, Aizen began telling Ichigo how he had been watching him from the day he was born because Ichigo was half human and half Shinigami. He told him that every battle Ichigo had fought in his life had been set up by Aizen and that the outcome was controlled by him and not Ichigo.
Ichigo couldn’t believe his ears, but before he could fully react, his father, Isshin Kurosaki, appeared in a traditional Shinigami outfit ( Shihakusho) and said that Aizen talks too much.
Ichigo is stunned to see his father in Shinigami uniform, and as usual, before he can say anything, Isshin attacks Ichigo for no apparent reason, because of which he falls from the top of the building. After this, the two of them get some time to themselves.
During this time, Isshin understands that Ichigo must have a lot of questions for him and is prepared to disclose everything. But Ichigo stopped him and told him that he did not want to hear it and that he knew his father had his reasons for keeping such a big secret from him for so long.
This shocking revelation about Ichigo’s father being a Shinigami happens in Bleach Episode 298. The secret got out during the battle of the Fake Karakura Town. What happens next is that Ichigo and Isshin engage in battle together against Aizen in an attempt to defeat the powerful captain.
